Children’s Scholarship Fund (CSF)

The Cathedral Education Cluster is a partner of Children’s Scholarship Fund (CSF), a national organization providing educational opportunities to low-income children across the country. As a CSF partner, we are increasing our financial advantage and ability to offer scholarships via the match provided by a portion of funds raised by the Diocese of Bridgeport. CSF was founded in 1998 by Ted Forstmann and John Walton as a program that would empower the parents of 40,000 low-income children across the country to send their children to private schools for four years. Now, over ten years later, CSF and its partner programs have provided scholarships worth $483 million, in turn changing the lives of almost 123,000 low-income children and their families.
