SCHOOL HOURS:
7:40am to 1:50pm.
Students may not arrive before 7:15 and are considered late after 7:40. Dismissal is at 1:50 noon on days of early dismissal. Students picked up late are sent to the After School Program at 2:00 and charged the daily fee.

OFFICE HOURS:
7:30am to 3:00pm when school is in session.

Summer office hours: 9:00am to 1:00pm – The office is closed for two weeks during the summer and usually during school vacations. E-mail and Voice mail is checked daily.

Busing is available to students residing in the City of Bridgeport who live more than one mile from school. See the school secretary for a bus request.

School Uniform

Students in grades K-8 wear uniforms, which are available through Blake’s Uniforms at 60 Access Road (corner of Main St. and Access Rd.) in Stratford CT.

Girls Uniform - Girls in grades K-6 wear a plaid jumper with white round collar blouse and navy blue optional cardigan.  Girls in grades 7-8 wear a plaid skirt with white pointed collar blouse and optional cardigan or v-neck sweater.  In the winter, all girls have the option of wearing navy cotton or corduroy slacks with their uniform blouse.  In the fall or spring, all girls have the option of wearing khaki walking shorts with the uniform blouse.

Boys Uniform – Boys wear navy blue uniform slacks, light blue dress shirt, plaid uniform tie, belt, navy blue St. Ambrose uniform sweater, cardigan or v-neck pullover, or v-neck vest.   In the fall or spring, all boys have the option of wearing khaki walking shorts with the uniform shirt.

Physical Education Uniform – The gym uniform consists of a maroon St. Ambrose t-shirt or sweatshirt and matching maroon sweat pants.
