After School Program

St. Ambrose School provides an Extended Day programs from 2:00 to 5:30 pm, and from noon on early dismissal days, for those children who would otherwise go home to an empty house, and for those parents/guardians who have occasional emergencies.  The program is conducted by members of the staff.

All children who will participate in the program must present completed registration and emergency forms.  If a child is to attend on an emergency or temporary basis, the child is to present a written note from the parent/guardian on the specific days of attendance.  The note must be dated, signed by a parent/guardian, and list current emergency numbers.

The program includes a snack; play time; quiet time for study, homework, or quiet games; crafts and other activities.

It is advisable that children participating in the Extended Day program bring play clothes so they do not ruin their uniforms.
