Our Principal

My name is Mrs. Maria O’Neill and I have been a part of the St. Andrew family for fifteen years.  I am proud to work with such a dedicated group of teachers who live the mission of our school on a daily basis. St. Andrew School truly is a place where children love to learn and learn to love!

Students come to St Andrew School from all over the city and beyond.  Our school celebrates its diversity in every grade and students are encouraged to share their families' heritage throughout the school year.   Students at St Andrew School are exposed to a rigorous curriculum and have many opportunities for extracurricular activities. The faculty is committed to educating the whole child and we offer after school activities in sports, crafts, cultural appreciation, etc.

As a Catholic school, our students have religion classes every day.  We also celebrate Mass as a school every Friday with student participation.  In addition to religion, students' core courses include literacy, mathematics, social studies and science.  The school also offers art, music, computer, library and physical education on a weekly basis. Students in grades Pre-K through five have Spanish once a week and students in grades six through eight have Spanish three times a week.

The faculty, staff and administration strive to create a family atmosphere at the school where children are celebrated, encouraged and expected to be good citizens. St Andrew School is a wonderful place to be!  Come for a visit and you will be sure to see the good work being done by good students and teachers!
