All students wear uniforms. Uniforms are purchased through Blake’s Uniforms in Stratford, CT. The Gym Uniform is available only through the school.

St. Andrew School Dress Code

Kindergarten:
Students wear the St. Andrew Gym Uniform* and sneakers every day.

GRADES 1-4:

Boys:

• Navy Pants
• Yellow polo shirt (long or short sleeve)
• Black or Brown shoes
• Gym Uniform* and sneakers on Tuesdays
• Navy walking shorts (from Blakes) for Summer Uniform

Girls:

• Plaid jumper
• Yellow polo shirt (long or short sleeve)
• Solid black or brown shoes (no heel)
• Gym Uniform* and sneakers on Tuesdays
• Navy walking shorts (from Blakes) for Summer Uniform

GRADE 5:

Boys:

• Navy Pants with solid black or brown belt
• Navy polo shirt (Summer Uniform only)
• Light Blue/White Oxford shirt and tie**
• Solid black or brown shoes
• Gym Uniform* on Mondays

Girls:

• Plaid skirt
• Navy polo shirt (Summer Uniform only)
• Light Blue/White Oxford shirt
• Navy pants (Nov – Feb only)
• Solid black or brown shoes (no heel)
• Gym Uniform* on Mondays

• Khaki or Navy dress pants with solid black or brown belt

Girls:

• Plaid skirt/Navy skort/Khaki skort
• Light Blue polo (Summer Uniform only)

• Khaki/Navy pants (Nov- Feb only)

• Gym Uniform* on Mondays

*Gym uniforms sold on the First Sunday of each month in the school library or request an order form through the office. Only St. Andrew t-shirts, shorts, sweatshirts and sweatpants permitted for gym.

**School tie required for boys in Grades 6 & 7. Boys in Grade 8 may wear any appropriate tie.

All pants must be dress pants. “Cargo” style pants are not permitted. Shorts are not part of the uniform for students in Grades 5-8, except as part of the gym uniform.

All boys wear dark or solid white socks. Girls wear solid white or navy ankle or knee socks. Girls in Grade 8 may wear any appropriate socks.

Physical Education Uniform – The PE uniform for all students is navy sweatshirt and sweatpants. They may wear a navy gym t-shirt and navy shorts in the summer. Sneakers are required for PE class. The gym uniform is available through the school office.
