Care For Kids
Care For Kids is a State of Connecticut program that assists families with the costs for Before and After School Care. The income guidelines are very generous and families are encouraged to apply. Forms are available at the link below and also in the school office.

Before School Program
In response to the needs of our school families, St. Andrew School offers a Before School Program that opens each morning at 7:00am (even on delayed openings!) and provides supervision until 7:30am. Rates are very reasonable and families are billed each Wednesday for the previous week's use of the program. Please inquire at the office for more details. The Before School Program is included in Pre-Kindergarten tuition.

Although breakfast is not served, students may bring and eat their breakfast in the Before School Program.

The cost for the Before School Program is $4 a day for one child and $5 for two children.

After School Care Program
We offer an After School Program for those families who may need after school care for their children. Faculty members and staff members supervise the children. Children are encouraged to complete their homework before playing with the other children. Children play games, go outside on the playground and do crafts in the After School Program.

From 2-3pm on Mondays through Thursdays, students in grades 3-8 are assisted with their homework. Staff members will guide students through the organization, time management and plan for the evening's work.

The After School Program runs from 2:00pm until 5:30pm.  Children who stay in the After School Program must be signed out by the person picking them up. The After School Program is in session on most early dismissal days but not when school is dismissed early due to weather or other emergency. Penalties are assessed for late pick ups. Pre-Kindergarten tuiton includes the cost of the After School Program. All students are encouraged to bring a snack for the After School Program.

The cost for the After School Program is determined by the pick up time:

**A $2 PER MINUTE (minimum of $10) will be assessed for each minute after 5:30 pm. Consistent late pick ups may result in dismissal of the program.
