Kindergarten Program

We offer a full-day kindergarten. Children must be 5-years of age by December 31. Religion is taught through Bible stories and kindergarten children attend Mass with the seventh grade students. The program includes learning letters and recognizing their sounds, rhyme words, basic sight words, beginning and ending sounds. They will learn to write letters, words, and simple sentences. In mathematics, in addition to counting, and writing numbers, the children also learn simple addition. Students have ‘Center Days’ that allow for creative interaction and experimentation.
