SCHOOL HOURS:
7:40am to 2:00pm. Students may not arrive before 7:30am and are considered late after 7:50am. Dismissal is at 12:00 noon on days of early dismissal. Students picked up late are sent to the After School Program at 2:15 and charged the daily fee.

OFFICE HOURS:
7:30am to 3:30pm when school is in session.

Summer Office Hours: 9:00am to 1:00pm – The office is closed for two weeks during the summer and usually during school vacations. E-mail and Voice mail is checked daily.

School Uniform

All students wear uniforms. Uniforms are purchased through Blake’s Uniforms in Stratford, CT or Neil Robert’s Uniforms in Orange, CT.

Girls' Uniforms

  • Grades K-8: Navy blue bermuda shorts may be worn from August to October 15 and in May and June with navy blue or white socks. Girls also wear light blue knit shirt with school logo in Gr. K – 7; Gr. 8 girls wear white knit shirt.  Beginning Nov. 1 – April 1 girls may wear long navy blue pants with a belt and their knit shirts. Jumpers and skirts may be worn throughout year, but are required after Oct. 15.
  • Grades K-5: Plaid jumper, knee length or longer. Round collared blue blouse. Navy socks or tights.
  • Grades 6 & 7: Navy blue box pleated skirt or culotte, knee length, v-neck sweater vest with insignia, pointed light blue collared shirts. Navy socks or tights.
  • Grade 8: Same skirts and vest as Gr. 6 & 7; white buttoned down shirts. White socks or tights.
  • Grades K-8: Tied leather black or brown rubber soled flat shoes. Navy blue knee socks or anklets. Navy blue tights may be worn in the winter.
  • PK & K: Shoes with Velcro closures may be worn.

   
Boys' Uniforms

  • Grades K-7: Navy blue bermuda shorts may be worn from August to October 15 and in May and June. Navy or white socks may be worn with shorts. Light blue knit shirts with school logo are also worn. Gr. 8 boys wear white knit shirts with school logo. After Oct. 15 all boys wear long navy blue pants. The boys in Gr. K – 5 continue wearing light blue knit shirts; boys in Gr. 6 & 7 wear light blue tailored dress shirts with plaid ties;
  • Grades 8: Boys wear white buttoned down collar dress shirts with navy blue ties. All boys’ pants are to be worn at waist with shirts tucked in and a belt.
  • Grades 3-8: Belt is required. Boys in primary grades may wear pants with elastic waist.
  • PK & K: Shoes with Velcro closure may be worn.
  • Grades 1-8: Tied, leather, black or brown rubber soled dress shoes, no boots.
  • Grades K-8: Navy blue cardigan sweater.

     
Only white tee shirts may be worn by boys and girls under the shirts. No turtlenecks may be worn under the blouses or shirts. Shorts may be worn under skirts and jumpers. Boots may not be worn in school. Sneakers only permitted on Gym Day.
        
Gym Uniforms
Royal blue sweatshirt, t-shirt and sweat pants all with school insignia. Royal blue sweat shorts may be worn from Aug-Oct. 1. Students are REQUIRED to wear gym clothes to school on Gym Day. Jewelry is restricted on gym days.
        
NOTE:  All students should have their school uniforms and all other articles of clothing marked with their names.  This will reduce the number of lost articles.  If your child brings home someone else’s clothing, please return it the next day.

REMEMBER:   School uniforms must be CLEAN at all times.  It is recommended that each student have more than one uniform.  All students should pay attention to personal hygiene.
