We are now accepting registrations for the next school year for grades Kindergarten through grade 8. A limited number of financial scholarships are avaliable for qualified students. A PSAS financial aid application must be submitted to determine the amount of the scholarship. Children applying to St. Peter must complete a screening test. In addition, the principal will meet with children and parents. Children in grades K through 7 are encouraged to visit for a day.

Registration
Parents are asked to submit the child’s report card, a copy of his/her birth certificate, baptismal certificate (if the child is Catholic), immigration form (if not born in the United States), registration and health forms and a non-refundable $100 application fee. Forms are available through the school office. Parents will receive an acceptance letter from the principal once the registration process is complete.  Registration forms are available below and at the school office.

Tuition
Tuition rates for the 2013-14 school year are posted below for children whose family is enrolled in any Catholic parish in Bridgeport. Tuition reductions exist for families with two or more children enrolled. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify. For more information regarding financial aid please call the school.

The registration process includes:

• An interview by the principal with parents and the student
• Academic Screening
• A shadow day – scheduled by calling the office (203-333-2048) (The academic screening will be done on this day)
• New Student Recommendation form completed by the student’s current teacher (Gr. 1-8)
• Completion of registration paperwork.

All students are admitted on a conditional acceptance for at least one marking period in accord with Diocesan policy.  Please note: Schools of the Diocese of Bridgeport admit students of any religion, race, sex, color, national and ethnic origin.  Priority for admission will be given as follows:

• Re-registrants
• Siblngs of present students
• Children of active parishioners in local parishes
• Children transferring from a Catholic school outside the local area
• Catholic children from outside the local parish area
• All others

REGISTRATION PAPERWORK

• Registration Form, available at the school office or via the school’s website.
• FACTS Tuition Account Set Up (at the CEC Business Office)
• A copy of the most  recent report card, if applicable
• Most recent standardized test results (e.g. CMT, ITBS)
• Birth certificate
• Baptismal certificate (Catholic students)
• Signed, Parish Affiliation form (Catholic students if applying for the in-parish tuition discount)
• Immigration form (if not born in the United States and not transferring from a public school)
• Health forms (Medical records for students transferring from Bridgeport public schools will be transferred by the school nurse)
