SCHOOL HOURS:
7:50am to 2:00pm
The school doors are opened for students at 7:30am. Student must be in school by 7:45am. The LATE BELL rings at 7:50am. Student not in their homeroom at 7:50am are considered tardy.

Students not picked up by 2:15pm will be sent to the After School Care Program. Parents are charged the hourly rate, per child, for this program.

Early Dismissal (half day) is at 12:00 noon.

OFFICE HOURS:
7:30am to 3:30pm when school is in session. On days of early dismissal, the office may close early.

Summer office hours: 8:00am to 12:00pm. During the summer (June 30-August 15) office hours may vary. They will be posted on the front door of the school and on the answering machine.

Busing is available to students residing in the City of Bridgeport who live more than one mile from school. See the school secretary for a bus request.

Our full-day pre-kindergarten program is for children who will be 4-years old by December 31. We provide an environment rich in literacy through story-telling, poems and songs. Pre-K children learn colors and basic shapes. They learn to recognize and write the letters of the alphabet and numbers up to 20. They also learn how to write their names. Getting along with others is another important goal for pre-kindergarteners: how to share and play with children their own age.

Children who attend our full-day kindergarten must be 5-years of age by December 31. In kindergarten children learn math concepts such as categorizing and graphing. They associate letters with sounds, rhyme words, write letters and words, identify the beginning and ending sounds in words, identify patterns and recognize basic sight words.
