SCHOOL HOURS:
7:50am to 2:00pm
The school doors are opened for students at 7:30am. Student must be in school by 7:45am. The LATE BELL rings at 7:50am. Student not in their homeroom at 7:50am are considered tardy.

Students not picked up by 2:15pm will be sent to the After School Care Program. Parents are charged the hourly rate, per child, for this program.

Early Dismissal (half day) is at 12:00 noon.

OFFICE HOURS:
7:30am to 3:30pm when school is in session. On days of early dismissal, the office may close early.

Summer office hours: 8:00am to 12:00pm. During the summer (June 30-August 15) office hours may vary. They will be posted on the front door of the school and on the answering machine.

Busing is available to students residing in the City of Bridgeport who live more than one mile from school. See the school secretary for a bus request.

St. Raphael is a Catholic elementary school with a pre-kindergarten through 8th grade program. We are located in the city of Bridgeport, Connecticut.

November Happenings at St. Raphael School

Student Council has done a wonderful job collecting canned food for the Merton House. Everyone in the school pitched in and we have more than 30 boxes filled to the brim with all kinds of delicious food. We're happy to spread holiday cheer by helping out our neighbors; thanks to everyone who donated!

November also means celebrating our annual Thanksgiving Lunch. Our wonderful caterer, Vazzy’s, cooked up a delicious, traditional Thanksgiving feast which was served to all students on Wednesday, November 16th. Class buddies sat together and enjoyed great food snd spent time together sharing stories and having fun. Thanks to Grade 8 and for setting up the church hall and special thanks to Moms and Dads who volunteered to help out.
